According to the National Sleep Foundation, the use of electronic devices in the bedroom can disrupt the natural sleep pattern. The signals of light and dark help us be alert in the morning and ready to rest at night. Studies show that even small electronic devices emit enough light to send the wrong signals to the brain, delay the release of melatonin and promote wakefulness.  So unplug and remove phones, tablets and computers from the bedroom if you want to improve your slumber.
